Rebekah possesses a myriad of skills, from technical writing to programming to financial management. Before she came to New City Media, Rebekah worked as an accountant and sales rep. Since joining our team in 2006, she has taken on the role of Project Coordinator, efficiently handling client requests and making sure that her projects remain on track with deadlines and goals.
Rebekah is the sort who loves trying new things and taking on new challenges (a trait shared by all NCMers!). On a recent trip, she and her husband tried kayaking for the first time, and loved it so much they bought kayaks of their own. Now they take frequent summer trips to local lakes and rivers to enjoy the sport. Rebekah also likes reading, watching foreign movies, and dining at Indian restaurants because they “do such interesting things to the most boring foods (like broccoli) and absolutely none of it tastes like something I cook at home.”
Rebekah says: “I enjoy learning new things more than anything else. If I find myself in a job where I’m not learning, I don’t usually stay there long.” So we hope to keep Rebekah around for a long, long time!
