A reintroduction of NewCity after changing our name and re-branding the company so that it’s in line with our strategic planning, customer-focused, experience-driven philosophies.
I went to SXSW and all I got was… [March 19th, 2009]
…some really awesome t-shirts actually.
So, a lot of people have asked me how the trip was. Short answer: great! We had a blast at the SXSW conference and frankly can’t wait to go next year. I’m pretty sure Dave and I will make the trip over annually. Will we go in an RV? Ask me [...]
You have a broken hip. And a granddaughter. Happy Holidays! [December 18th, 2008]
This year, we decided not to do the whole “everybody sign these 200 cards and we’ll send them out to clients and vendors” thing. Instead, we stuck with what we know: Entertaining design with a message. In this case, there are 19 messages and each one is a favorite holiday memory from one of us [...]
Barter Theatre’s Formula For Success: Make People Happy [November 14th, 2008]

Once a year, we here at NewCity step away from the business of building websites and spend a day working with Habitat for Humanity. Like last year, we joined up with other volunteers in Pulaski, VA, to continue work on a group of houses being built down there.

We’re sorry to say goodbye to Brian McGill today. It’s his last day at NewCity, and we’re sending him off with a cookout this afternoon. Brian’s moving to Stuarts Draft, Virginia, to be closer to his girlfriend Sarah. He’s been hired as a web developer at Augusta Medical Center in nearby Waynesboro, where Sarah works [...]
